Spring + Maud Haus Collab
can't believe I'm seeing sooo much green these days! Green grass, flowers, everything.
I don't know about you, but when it gets too dark and rainy, I can't find my happy place. I don't know what I would do without yoga, meditation, and HIIT (high-intensity interval training)! With yoga and meditation, I can quiet my mind and just relax. With HIIT, it's quite the opposite---I'm able to get my heart-rate up and the endorphin rush makes me feel so powerful.
I've also found myself connecting more with nature these days, finally finding my niche in our new town of Nashville to break from the industrial neighborhood we live in *hears trains as I type this*.
We have this incredible park called Shelby Bottoms where I've been running and walking for a few hours at a time. I like to unplug my headphones and just walk with my watch, soaking up the sounds of nature. It really is such an amazing escape, even if it's just a few times a week.
With my favorite weather, comes my favorite kind of wardrobe!
Yes, of course, I love to layer in the winter and the fall, but it's important to shed those layers and (safely) expose your skin to some Vitamin D! Vitamin D deficiency is nothing to mess with, and is so common, especially in young women.
That's where my love for the adorable small business of MaudHaus comes in!
A small start-up boutique run by a few very kind and special girls is my favorite kind of company! The brand promotes positivity with chic and classic cuts, without lacking modern flare and colors. I absolutely adore the Meg Maxi in Black for a light-weight summer vibe, especially when paired with some adorable sunnies like their Karsyn Sunnies for an easy and stylish look!
The dress and Workman's Jacket pair so nicely together, especially when the sun comes out and you have to tie that bad boy around your waist!
Easy, breezy chic.
For those cozier nights (or afternoons spent at coffee shops like me), I highly suggest checking out their warm and wearable wraps! Say that ten times fast!
Seriously, though. I have worn this Colorblock Wrap every single day since I got it, and it makes an adorable throw when you're not wearing it! The tones are rustic enough to fit a boho vibe, but warm enough to be worn in the fall. Definitely my favorite piece so far!
If you can't already tell, I'm obessesed with this brand. Their message is subtle yet sophisticated styles and all kinds of cuts, focusing on vintage inspiration. They also have colors for all of you bold lovers out there!
Definitely check out these talented girls' brand, and give their shop a look-through! You won't be sorry! :D
